"I cannot rate Mike highly enough; he is always upbeat and cheerful and encourages a “can-do” attitude in everything that he is involved with. I have personally worked closely with Mike to formalise the marketing and PR done by Hilton Supplies.

  Prior to his involvement we were, like most companies, following a very random policy of advertising and to a certain extent, simply used the outlets that we had always used. Mike made us look hard at our spend in terms of value for money.

We quickly identified that our website was the weak link and the one that potentially would give us the most returns.

In terms of adverts that we do place Mike liaises with designers and publications to ensure that the ads correctly reflect Hilton Supplies in a professional light and that deadlines are met. 

After we had decided what we wanted done to the website and who we would like to do it then Mike was the one who oversaw the implementation and absorbed a lot of the time that it took to get everything how we wanted it. Fundamentally Mike was the point of contact who allowed me to be involved only in a regular short meeting to monitor progress and he then implemented the decisions made.

 We have issued a number of press releases under Mike’s guidance and have had articles published in both local and national publications. One of these led directly to Hilton Supplies being featured in National Trade magazine. Publicity like that is very valuable and we would never have achieved it without Mike Weed Marketing! 

Mike’s sales background is invaluable to us as it means we are dealing with someone who understands how businesses function. Also he was able to provide sales training to various members of staff which gave them the confidence to cold call on sites. Again something that has helped to increase business. During the last 12 months Hilton Supplies turnover and profitability has grown. Mike Weed is a significant part of that success as he facilitates the public face of the company in terms of marketing and PR and frees up my time to concentrate on other aspects of the business.
